What Is a Proposed Civil Partner Visa?
The proposed civil partner visa is for applicants outside the UK who intend to enter the UK to form a civil partnership within 6 months with a:
British citizen, or
Person settled in the UK (ILR / settled status)
This visa does not allow work or study. After registering the civil partnership, you must apply to switch to the Civil Partner Visa to remain in the UK.
